The lotus flower is the foremost symbol of beauty, prosperity and fertility. It has been said that within each human inhabiting the earth is the spirit of the sacred lotus. It represents eternity, purity and divinity and is widely used as a symbol of life, fertility, ever-renewing youth and to describe feminine beauty.

For those of you that are fascinated by horticulture...lotus flowers are amazing and not your everyday garden plant. The lotus flower begins as a small flower down at the bottom of a pond in the mud. It slowly grows up towards the water's surface continually moving towards the sunlight. Once it reaches the surface of the water the lotus flower begins to blossom and turns into a beautiful flower.

Like the lotus flower that grows up from the mud into an object of great beauty, She-Tech women also grow and transform. So in a sense, the lotus flower represents the struggle of life at its most basic form. At one point in time we have all been at the bottom of the muddy pond; however, much like the lotus flower, we rise above the surface with resilience and beauty.
