In the male dominated business world women tend to find it more challenging to nail down the right look for the workplace. The fashion industry barrages women with chic social attire, with very little emphasis put on workplace fashion. For a man; however, what he has on for work he could also wear to a party.

Over the past few years we have seen many companies relax their standards and transition from corporate professional to business casual. When in doubt, just observe your co-workers and make note of those that have client-facing positions versus those that remain behind the scenes. Many HR departments also have workplace attire guidelines that can be found in the employee handbook or company intranet.
